How to compose a 0:29 song

So, you have these ten minutes, and you you don't know what to do with them, and you suddenly decide to compose a 29 seconds long song, so what to do now? The answer is simple, start playing a tune in your mind, then start humming and recording it, then record again for the bass, and then rhythm, drums , backing vocals etc. any number of instruments you can play with your 'beat box', then feel the music and create some lyrics, and record again. Remember to keep track of the tempo of every recording. Finally superimpose everything using audacity, or your favorite sound editor, and adjust the volumes and pans of the different components.*TA DA*
you land up creating something in between reggae and tribal. But it sounds pretty decent. No? who cares? my ten minute were a treat.

Why so Serious(/green)?

Oh green lantern,
dont shine so bright,
on the path she turned,
dont shed green light,
it is all too dusty,
cracked with blight,
far less traveled,
than you make it look like
under your bright
green light.

Truth, she never asked for,
lies, she don't deserve,
so don't break her heart, or
mislead her to desert,
in hopes of greens
which she misses,
from the time before
she stood to part
from my ways,
to hers.

Oh green lantern,
do burn me in flames,
greener wont I burn,
cuz I am not the same
as back when
we used to play
till the evening sun
went down to lay.
I took all the blame,
for what happened or not,
I felt all the shame,
for all I left and got.
But, I will burn bright,
from the agony and plight,
to show her the truth,
but not so green,
as you might.

Oh green lantern,
make me a pleasent sight.

..."The fact that no mortal can stand not knowing is almost as well known as the fact that not everything can be known."...:::Ravanayan:::...
Now first of all it took me at least 4 minutes and 6 rereads to understand what under the heavens is he trying to say. And I am not completely sure that I truly understand what (above the hell) is he trying to convey. But all in all it makes it an awesome mythological comic series starter, as this is all mythology is about, milking out your own interpretation from every sentence.

By the way, the Ravan here is bad-ass, and so are all the other characters, I personally like the depiction of Bramha as the whole universe, and of a far greater size than the Greek Gods in Percy Jackson or God of War, much like the Celestials of DC Comics (bigger is better, atleast in the case of Gods, they got this one right). The the biggest thing that the first few issues of this series lack is the number of pages, besides that it is a job well done.

Peace to Ravan!
and to you too.
